Protect your Skin – DIY Sunscreen
Regardless of your physical activity outdoors it is essential to protect skin from
exposure/overexposure from the sun to prevent dis-ease and painful sunburn. Enjoy
this DIY sunscreen recipe. It is a staple formula on my shelf. Tweak as needed to satisfy
your skin type and PP.
Gather: 1 amber or cobalt blue glass spray bottle
Ingredients: 1/2 c. V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex, 4-5 drops each of Myrrh and
Carrot Seed EO, 20 drops Lavender EO.
blend * shake * spritz
Apply and reapply as needed especially in the morning and after swimming.
***Carrot Seed EO: for natural sunscreens has a high SPF (30-40).
Itchy + Sunburned Skin
Did you ever have an itch that you couldn’t quite reach—between the shoulder blades,
foot instep, etc? Do you recall the effects from too much sun exposure and to touch the
skin was very painful? Discover one natural product that resolves both concerns is
calming and has a refreshing scent.
PP: LavaDerm Cooling Mist
Simply take the lid off and spray as often as needed.

Nourish your Skin – Body Cream
To nourish and hydrate the skin is essential. Slather on in the a.m., noon, p.m. or
anytime your skin needs nourishment. A visual bonus: skin glowing beauty.
Gather: V-6 Mixing Oil + Genesis Hand and Body Lotion
Pour a small amount of oil into the palm of your hand, add cream, mix gently. Smooth
over your arms, legs, chest, and body. If you would rather apply one product try this
delicious Coconut-Lime Replenishing Body Butter (topical only)!
Mosquito & Bug Bites
What’s my go-to?
PP: Purification Essential Oil
Soothes skin (topical application only)
Topical: apply 1-2 drops of Purification EO topically to reduce irritation, soothe bug
bites, and
cleanse cuts.
Nourish those Lips
Lips need extra TLC after a day in the harsh elements. Begin with a scrub to remove
dried skin and follow up with a natural lip balm to nourish and bring forth color.
PP: Lip Love Sugar Scrub (The Bathroom Book – excerpt)
Gather: label, lidded jar, small bowl, spoon
Ingredients: 1 drop Orange EO, 2 tsp. unrefined, organic coconut oil, 2 tsp. local honey,
1/4 c. raw brown sugar
Prep: Blend the ingredients in a bowl & transfer to the jar. Scoop out a pea-sized portion
with the spoon and exfoliate those lips, rinse. Add a dab of Orange EO to lips.
All EOs are not created equal. I use and recommend one brand and have not swayed
over the years.
